Job Overview – Accounts Support Specialist

We are looking for Accounting Support Specialists who are enthusiastic and creative. This position will lead you towards being Accounts Manager of an international business. Job Description:

Financial Transaction Management:

  • Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets.
  • Reconcile bank statements with accounting records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Expense Management:

  • Monitor and categorize business expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Analyze expenditures and costs to identify areas for potential savings and efficiency improvements.

Invoicing and Payments:

  • Manage invoices, process payments, and track outstanding balances.
  • Assist in the invoicing of clients.

Financial Reporting:

  • Generate financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, on a regular basis.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Budgeting and Payroll:

  • Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, providing insights on financial performance.
  • Support payroll activities, including timesheet verification, calculations, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Tax and Compliance:

  • Assist in gathering and organizing documentation for tax filings.
  • Stay informed about relevant accounting and financial regulations, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Liaise with tax professionals as needed.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and irregularities.

Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and vendors regarding financial matters.
  • Liaise with vendors regarding payment inquiries and maintain positive working relationships.
